Bogdanas Konstantinas
(b. 1926)

Lithuanian sculptor. In 1945-1951 he studied at the Kaunas Institute of Applied and Decrative Arts. In 1951-1956 - resarch studentship at the Leningrad (now - St. Petersburg). I.Repin institute of the Acadey of Arts of the USSR. Since 1956 - master of art critisism.
Beginning with 1951 Bogdanas worked pedagogical work at LIA, Department of Sculpture.
Since 1959 - Head of the Department of Sculptue; since 1962 - pro-rector of LIA. Since 1965 - associated professor, since 1975 - professor.
