The participant of Domestic war. He consisted at the commander of 2-nd Western army prince Bagration. For participation in battle at Mogilyov he has been awarded by the Distinction of the Military award. During the Borodino battle, before the eighth attack on fleshes, he has transferred to Bagration Kutuzov's order to counterattack, for what has received a grade of the ensign. In May 1820 he is dismissed in post department with assignment of a grade of the provincial secretary and the salary of 600 roubles in a year.
