Alexander Patrick
(1926—2003)

Patrick Alexander worked as a journalist and later a TV script writer. His first novel, Death of a Thin-Skinned Animal (1976), won awards and was made into the film The Professional (1981), starring Jean-Paul Belmondo. His later novels included Show Me A Hero (1979), Soldier On The Other Side (1983) and Ryfka (1988).
